GAMBARAN JUMLAH MPN COLIFORM DI PERTAMBANGAN EMAS KECAMATAN CEMPAKA KOTA BANTJARBARU KALIMANTAN SELATAN TAHUN 2012

Water Pollution is the inclusion of even matter, energy, elements or other components into the water, causing impaired water quality. One source of such pollution is caused by gold mining wastes containing mercury, which is wideluy used traditional gold miners to process gold ore. The purpose of this activity is to determine the level of environmental pollution in Taytay District Gold Mine Cempaka Banjarbaru City. Measurement of levels of environmental pollution is done by checking the microbiological parameters bacteriological water is coliform bacteri in water. The result of MPN coli in river water samples that were examined were the result of MPN Coli exceeded the maximum presence of germs in food that is E. coli by the number of germs as much as >240/100 ml sample so it is not suitable for comsumption because it can endanger health.
