FAKTOR FAKTOR YANG BERHUBUNGAN DENGAN PERILAKU MAKAN REMAJA DI SMA WILAYAH KOTA BANJARMASIN

ABSTRACT

Teenager period is the period when there are quick changes in the process of physical, cognitive and psychosocial growth. The changes afect nutrition need of teenagers. Wrong perception to body image can cause teenagers to have inappropiate eating behavior. The purpose of this study was to identify factors related !o body image and eating behavior of senior high school teenagen at the area of Banjarmasin Municipality. The study was analytic observational with cross sectional design. Samplirg method is prior to the study a screening was taken to get students with obese, normal, and underweight with minimum number of samples as many as 87 students for each group of 16-18 years old that were taken through proportional stratified random sampling. The choice of schools as location of the study was made through cluster random sampling. Statistical analisis used univariate, bivariate and stratification. The results showed thatunderweight teenagers dissatisfied with body image  had risk greater for inappropriate eating behavior; obese female teenagers dissatisfied with body image had greater risk for inappropriate eating behavior: obese teenager with highly educated fathers had greater risk for inappropriate eating behavior; obese teenager from high social economic status dissatisfied with body image had risk greater fot inappropriate eating behavior. Compliance consume that nutrition status, educated father level, social economic status, were related with eating behavior of teenagers
